Terry West – Founder / A1 Accredited Certifier

Terry is the founding Director of Terry West Building Approvals & Consultants who started the company when private certification was first introduced in 1999.

With his 19 years’ experience working in the private sector and a further 26 years’ experience in local government, managing the building and planning department, Terry has a substantial basis for practicing as an Accredited Certifier in the building certification industry.

He is an A1 Accredited Building Certifier and can assess building applications for a wide variety of developments ranging from carports to high rise commercial/residential buildings.

Timothy West – Director / A1 Accredited Certifier

Tim started with the company as a junior cadet in 2000 while still studying at Western Sydney University eventually obtaining his Accreditation in 2005.

He is an A1 Accredited Building Certifier and can access building applications for a wide variety of developments ranging from carports to commercial/residential/industrial building including projects involving Alternate/Performance Solutions

Tim has assessed applications for some of the largest residential subdivisions across Western Sydney.

Ousama Al-Taiff – A3 Accredited Certifier

Ousama started with the company as an A3 Accredited Certifier in 2017 and has assessed applications for some major domestic residential housing developments throughout Western Sydney.

Ousama has a background in engineering and building/construction, and has also worked in local government therefore possessing experience in a wide variety of building certification.

Karl Jawabreh – A3 Accredited Certifier

Karl is the newest member of the certification team starting with the company as an A4 Accredited Certifier in 2018. He recently obtained his A3 Accreditation and has since assessed and determined a wide variety of developments ranging from sheds and carports to dual occupancies.

Karl has a background in engineering and building/construction therefore possessing experience in a wide variety of building certification.

 

Courtney West – Office Manager

Courtney is a valued member of the team running the day to day operations of the business and has been doing so since she joined the company in 2007.

Natalie Farrugia – Administration

Natalie joined the team in 2017 and is a valued member who does an amazing job with all administration duties Monday to Wednesday.

Sonya Dorman – Administration

Sonya is the newest member of team joining in 2020 and is a valued member who does an amazing job with all administration duties Thursday and Friday..
